Highland Park Bank & Trust Hosts ‘Bark @ the Bank’
‘Man’s best friend’ will get their very own red carpet treatment at Highland Park Bank & Trust on Saturday, September 6th. Your hometown bank is hosting Bark @ the Bank, a canine fashion show, complete with a red carpet runway, “celebrity judges”, and awards in categories including: “Best Owner Look-Alike”, “Best Runway Presentation”, “Best Costume” and many others. Dress ‘em up, Dress ‘em down, or Accessorize to have the best chance to win a prize!
Dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome, and each registered pup owner will receive a goody bag, and will be eligible to win one of several pet-related raffle prizes. This event is open to the public and free for all. Local pet-related vendors will have exhibit booths and Orphans of the Storm, a local shelter who takes in stray and abandoned dogs and cats, will have animals present for adoption that day. Whether or not you have a dog, this is sure to be a light-hearted event that everyone will enjoy so bring the family. Who knows, you might even go home with a newly adopted friend!
